"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:10
Grace and Peace to you from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord has been good to us. 2016 was a phenomenal year for Faith Tabernacle Church of Spartanburg. We experienced growth in every area of our church and certainly all the glory belongs to God. In closer view of 2016, our theme was "A Year of Excellence". For 2017, we will continue as we have but with the understanding that this year for Faith Tabernacle Chruch of Spartanburg is the yeare to S.O.W. In Galatians 6:1-10, The apostle Paul speaks to how our lives should look as a community of believers. More specifically we are called to bear one another's burdens by helping in any and every way possible and while doing so "let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up." (v9)
God's vision for our church family focuses on three specific areas for 2017: Service, Outreach and Worship. It is our goal to accomplish the following in
As we continue to reflect the difference that Christ makes in the world I know without a doubt that 2017 is going to be bigger, better and blessed. As always, remember that I love you and there is nothing you can do about it!

“For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance.”
II Corinthians 5:7
Grace and peace be unto you from God our Father and Lord Jesus Christ. As I reflect upon our journey from September 28, 2014, to this present moment, the only appropriate expression is to God be the Glory for all the things he has done!
As we reflect upon the celebration of our "Fresh Start," let us continue to give thanks to God! Thanking God not only for what we have witnessed but what we are about to witness in the days, months and years to come!
Moving forward, we shall find direction and encouragement in the words of Paul the Apostle: "Therefore, my beloved, be steadfast, immovable, always excelling in the work of the Lord, because you know that in the Lord your labor is not in vain."
Lastly, I want to thank all of the precious saints of the Faith Tabernacle Church. Thanks for all of your love, support and most of all your unwavering and endless dedication in reflecting the difference that Christ makes in the world by remaining biblically based, mission driven and family oriented!
In the words of the late Pastor Andre Crouch, "Just let me live my life and let it be pleasing, Lord to thee. And should I gain any praise, let it go to Calvary!"
Always remember and never forget, I love you and there is nothing you can do about it!
Your fresh start begins now.
On February 4, 2017 the men of Faith Tabernacle met at the Golden Corral restaurant to fellowship over a meal. The event, organized by Mr. Shamely, is an opportunity for the new men members to sit down and talk with the men of the church. Each man took and opportunity to express why they joined Faith Tabernacle and the overall consensus seemed to be love.
First nine weeks student recognition was celebrated on November 6 during morning worship service. Faith Tabernacle is proud of all of our students as the excel in academics and extra cirricular activities. The first nine week celebrants are:

In the words of Margarette Bell-Miller, "We are a small church with a fresh start. Every time we turn around, the Lord keeps on blessing us." He truly blessed our church family with an amazing Church Dedication Weekend. We brought the weekend to a close with a spirit-filled message through song and sermon from Dr. Robert Lee McGowens and the Galilee Baptist Church Family from Charlotte, N.C.
We were all fortunate to receive a mighty word from a mighty man of God, Rev. Dr. McGowens, who is originally from Travelers Rest, S.C.
